| Obverse description | Orange-toned notgeld gutschein with a chain-link decorative border enclosing the entire face. Large Gothic-script numeral "10" denominators appear at left and right flanking the central text block, set against a lace-pattern guilloche underprint. The upper centre carries the denomination heading in blackletter type, below which a serial number is printed within a dark rectangular panel; a text block in German Fraktur script details the conditions of acceptance by the Stadtkasse Recklinghausen, dated Recklinghausen, den 1. Dezember 1920, with a circular municipal seal at lower left and a manuscript signature of the Oberbürgermeister at lower right. |
