| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in brown and ochre tones on a fine guilloche underprint border with a wavy-line frame. To the left, a detailed line-engraved vignette presents the Dommitzsch town hall (Rathaus), a multi-storey baroque civic building set among trees. Overlapping the lower portion of the vignette is a large circular coin-style numeral device bearing the denomination figure '10', inscribed below with 'PFENNIGE'. To the upper right, the issuing authority is stated in bold blackletter script as 'Stadt Dommitzsch Elbe', beneath which a framed text panel gives the redemption clause; the note is dated 'Dommitzsch, d. 15. Nov. 1920' and bears the facsimile signature of Der Magistrat with two manuscript signatures below. |
