| Obverse description | Printed in red-pink and black on white paper, the obverse centres on a silhouette vignette of the Stade city skyline — dominated by the tall spire of St. Cosmae church — set over a sunburst underprint of radiating rays, with the denomination numeral '10' appearing at upper left and lower right. A lower cartouche bears the municipal coat of arms of Stade, a shield charged with a cross and key, flanked by two text panels carrying the validity clause and legal references, dated 1 May 1920. Facsimile manuscript signatures of the Magistrat and the Bürgervorsteher appear beneath the text panels, with the printer's imprint along the lower margin. |
