| Obverse description | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three sections bearing the royal palm, the rising sun over a key between two promontories, and three blue and white diagonal stripes, surmounted by a Phrygian cap on a pike and flanked by an oak branch to the left and a laurel branch to the right.
