| Reverse description | Printed entirely in brown, the reverse is dominated by a large central circular guilloche vignette bearing the legend PHILIPPINE ISLANDS across a horizontal band, with TEN PESOS arching above and below within the medallion. Roman numeral X counters appear in elaborate scrollwork frames at the upper left and right corners, while Arabic numeral 10 counters occupy the lower corners within lacy engine-turned panels. The inscription TREASURY CERTIFICATE runs along the top border above a band of fine ornamental guilloche, and TEN PESOS appears in oval cartouches at the mid-left and mid-right margins. |
