Reverse description The coat of arms of the State of San Luis Potosí is depicted centrally within an ornate baroque cartouche with scrollwork borders, showing a crowned figure of Saint Louis IX of France standing atop a rocky hill with mining tools and ore ingots at his feet, flanked by four oval escutcheons. The curved legend ESTADO DE SAN LUIS POTOSÍ arcs along the upper periphery, punctuated by a beaded border. The Mexico City mintmark (Mo) appears to the left of the shield in the field, while the date 2004 and the denomination $10 are inscribed in the lower field beneath the coat of arms.
