Obverse description Central field dominated by a large, naturalistically rendered polychrome enamel depiction of a Regal Angelfish (Pyglopites diacanthus) facing right, its body exhibiting alternating vertical stripes of yellow, white, and grey bordered by blue, with a green and yellow head and a yellow tail fin. A stylized coral or sea-anemone motif in pink and magenta occupies the left field behind the fish. The legend 'PECES TROPICALES' curves along the upper rim in raised Latin lettering, while 'Pyglopites diacanthus' arcs along the lower rim. The date '2005' and the Havana mint mark appear at the bottom of the field beneath the fish.
