Reverse description The reverse presents a half-length figure of a Chinelo dancer at right, depicted in traditional ceremonial costume including an elaborate feathered headdress adorned with Pre-Columbian motifs and beaded ornamentation, characteristic of the Morelian carnival tradition. Behind the figure to the left, a detailed architectural rendering of the Palacio de Cortés in Cuernavaca occupies the middle and lower field, its Moorish-influenced arched arcade and crenellated battlements rendered in fine relief. The denomination $10 appears in the upper field, with the inscription ESTADO DE MORELOS to its left, and the mint mark Mo appears to the right of the dancer's shoulder. The legend PALACIO DE CORTÉS is inscribed in a panel at the lower left, and the date 2006 appears at the bottom center, with a border of raised dots encircling the design.
