Obverse description	The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three quarters: the upper portion features a golden key between two rocky promontories representing the Gulf of Florida, the middle left quarter displays the rising sun over a landscape with a royal palm tree, and the lower right quarter shows red and white diagonal stripes symbolizing the original Cuban departments. The shield is surmounted by a Phrygian cap on a staff, and flanked on either side by a wreath of oak leaves on the left and laurel on the right, bound at the base. The legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper periphery, and the denomination 10 PESOS is inscribed in the lower field.
