| Obverse description | The Cuban national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a shield divided into three quarters: the upper portion shows a golden key between two mountain promontories and a rising sun over the sea, while the lower quarters display alternating blue and white diagonal stripes and a royal palm. The shield is surmounted by a Phrygian cap atop a fasces and flanked by a laurel branch to the left and an oak branch to the right. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE CUBA arcs along the upper periphery, with the denomination 10 PESOS at the base and the fineness indicators 1 OZ and AG 0.999 flanking the shield on either side. The entire design is framed by a rope-pattern border. |
