Reverse description Printed entirely in brown on a plain paper ground, the reverse is dominated by bold intaglio lettering reading PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK CIRCULATING NOTE in the centre panel, flanked left and right by ornate guilloche side panels each bearing a TEN PESOS cartouche and a large roman numeral X at the upper corners. A decorative scallop-fan frieze runs across the top, and a panel of small-text legal tender language is set within a guilloche frame at the lower centre. Denomination numeral 10 appears in each lower corner.
