| Obverse description | The obverse carries three oval vignettes across the upper portion: a building at left, the provincial coat of arms at centre, and a sailing vessel at right. The bank title 'EL BANCO PROVINCIAL DE SANTA FE' is set in bold letterpress across the middle register, below which the denomination 'DIEZ PESOS BOLIVIANOS' appears in large display type flanked by numeral '10' counters at each side. The text 'SERIE UNA' and the manuscript place-and-date line 'Santa Fé, Noviembre 1° de 1874' appear in the upper portion, with signature lines for El Inspector and El Director at the foot.
