| Obverse description | Red intaglio print on white paper. An oval vignette at right bears an engraved bust portrait of General José de San Martín in military uniform, facing three-quarters left. The bank title in ornate Gothic script arches across the upper portion, beneath which cursive lettering carries the promise-to-pay legend, with the denomination 'DIEZ PESOS' rendered in large decorative script at centre and the numeral '10' set within a guilloche rosette below. A large blank oval watermark window occupies the left field, flanked by intricate lathe-work borders, with two facsimile signatures and their titles printed along the lower margin above a micro-text security band. |
