| Obverse description | The obverse is set within a decorative scalloped border with repeated numeral 10 corner pieces and an ornamental frame. At left centre, an oval vignette bears the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines. The central text panel carries the issuing authority legend and a redemption clause reading that the Commonwealth Government will redeem the certificate at face value upon termination of Emergency. The series year 1943 and serial number prefix BB appear at upper right, with three manuscript signatures of the Board members along the lower portion. |
