Reverse description The Uruguayan national coat of arms is set within an oval guilloche vignette at the center, surrounded by the issuing bank's name in a curved letterpress legend. Elaborate symmetrical guilloche lacework fills the entire field in red-orange ink, with numeral "10" counters enclosed in ornate lathe-work cartouches at left and right. The printer's imprint "Waterlow & Sons, Ld Londres" appears in small type at the lower center margin.
