Obverse description A stylized heraldic rosette occupies the upper field, positioned above a raised concentric circle at center. Two symmetrical sprays of finely detailed fern or conifer branches arc outward from the base, framing the central device on either side. The date 19 41 is inscribed in the lower field, divided by the convergence of the branch stems at the base. The overall composition is bold and emblematic, characteristic of wartime pattern coinage design.
