Obverse description Fifth crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem, as sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley. The Queen's portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and crown. The legend 'ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY' arcs around the upper periphery, with the date '2021' incorporated into the inscription. The design follows the standard Rank-Broadley portrait adopted across British Crown Dependencies from 1998.
