| Obverse description | The fifth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark, depicts a right-facing crowned bust of the sovereign wearing the George IV State Diadem and a drop earring. The portrait is rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished field, with the engraver's initials J.C. incused beneath the neck truncation. The circumferential legend reads ELIZABETH II · DEI · GRA · REG · F · D ·, with the denomination TEN PENCE and the date 2018 completing the inscription arc across the upper left field. |
