Obverse description The fifth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right, depicting the monarch wearing the George IV State Diadem. The portrait, modelled by Jody Clark, presents a crowned and draped bust with fine detail in the regalia. The sovereign's titles appear as a circumferential legend around the effigy, with the denomination and date integrated into the inscription. The initials 'J.C' appear below the truncation, attributing the design to the engraver.
