Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the George IV State Diadem, a pearl necklace, and earrings, as designed by Jody Clark for the fifth definitive portrait. The legend QUEEN ELIZABETH II curves along the upper periphery, with ISLE OF MAN to the right. The date appears in the lower field, flanked by two raised dots. The portrait is rendered in fine relief with detailed treatment of the crown and jewellery.

Reverse description A Manx cat — the tailless breed native to the Isle of Man — is depicted in full stride across the central field, rendered with naturalistic detail. The entire design is framed by an intricate Celtic knotwork border running along the inner edge of the coin. At the top of the field, within a circular cartouche, appears the triskelion emblem of the Isle of Man. The denomination 10 PENCE is inscribed within a raised oval cartouche at the base of the design.
