| Obverse description | Third portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, crowned and draped, as sculpted by Raphael David Maklouf. The Queen wears the George IV State Diadem and drop earrings, her hair styled in loose curls. The legend ISLE OF MAN arcs along the left periphery and ELIZABETH II descends along the right, both in raised Latin characters. The date 1987 appears in the lower field below the portrait, flanked by small decorative stars. |
