| Obverse description | The Royal Montenegrin coat of arms occupies the central field: a large double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, surmounted by a royal crown above both heads. On the eagle's breast is a shield bearing a lion passant. The eagle's right talon clutches a sceptre and the left a globus cruciger. The entire design is set within a beaded border running along the coin's rim. |
