| Reverse description | The reverse displays multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic inscription in the Ottoman style, arranged horizontally across the field, recording the mint name Baghdad (بغداد) and the regnal year. The Hijri date 1187 appears at the base of the inscription in Arabic numerals (١١٨٧), corresponding to AH 1187 / AD 1773, with the accession year (regnal year 9) also noted. The entire design is enclosed within a raised pellet border consistent with the obverse. |
