Obverse description Central design featuring a stylized mosque with a prominent central arch and flanking minarets, rendered in low relief. Two crossed swords are depicted beneath the mosque, forming an X-pattern characteristic of Afghan regal coinage of this period. An Arabic inscription appears below the central motif, filling the lower field. The overall design is struck on an irregularly shaped flan typical of the brief reign of Habibullah Kalakani.

Reverse description The reverse bears a bold Arabic inscription in the central field denoting the denomination, with the word 'دَه' (Dah, meaning ten) positioned to the right of 'پیسه' (Paise). The Hijri date 1347 appears in Arabic numerals below the denomination legend. The inscription is rendered in a somewhat crude calligraphic style consistent with the emergency coinage produced during Kalakani's short-lived reign. The field surrounding the legend is largely unadorned, and the flan edges are noticeably irregular.
