Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Birendra Bir Bikram and Queen Aishwarya facing left, the King wearing a traditional plumed crown and the Queen with an elaborate coiffure. Devanagari legends flank the effigies at left and right, reading the royal titles and names of the royal couple. The inscription 'Nepal' and the Vikram Samvat date 2032 appear along the lower rim in Devanagari script.

Reverse description The numeral '10' in large Devanagari characters occupies the center of the field, with the denomination 'दस पैसा' (Ten Paisa) inscribed below. Two upward-curving grain sprigs flank the central denomination, enclosing the IWY emblem — a stylized dove with outstretched wings — at the base. A circular legend around the upper periphery reads the commemorative motto 'Equality Development Peace' in Devanagari, while the lower legend 'International Women's Year 1975' runs along the rim in Devanagari script.
