Obverse description Right-facing bust of Emperor Anastasius I, diademed, draped, and cuirassed, rendered in the late antique imperial style typical of early Byzantine coinage. A cross is positioned above the imperial effigy, emphasizing the Christian character of the reign. The bust displays the characteristic pearl diadem and military cloak over armor. The surrounding legend identifies the emperor in abbreviated Latin titulature. The overall strike is slightly irregular, consistent with hammered provincial production of the period.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description Central field dominated by a large Greek numeral I (denoting 10 nummi), surmounted by a cross and flanked by pellets on either side, serving as the primary value indicator of this decanummium denomination. An officina letter precedes the surrounding legend, identifying the workshop responsible for striking. The mint signature ANTX appears in the exergue, confirming production at the Antioch mint. The legend CONCORDI encircles the central device, invoking imperial concord. The design follows the standard Anastasian small bronze typology introduced with the currency reform of 498 AD.
