| Obverse description | The obverse features a large stylized numeral '10' dominating the field, rendered in bold geometric relief with vertical striped detailing on the left element and a smooth circular disc at right, within which the State of Israel coat of arms — a menorah flanked by olive branches above the legend 'ישראל' — appears centrally embossed. A trilingual legend arcs along the upper periphery reading 'ישראל ISRAEL إسرائيل' followed by the Hebrew year 'התשמ"ט' and the Gregorian year '1989'.
