The word 'ISRAEL' appears in three languages — Hebrew (ישראל), Arabic (إسرائيل), and Latin script — along with the mint year 2006 and Hebrew calendar year התשס״ו. A cluster of heavenly stars in the left field symbolises the Divine promise to Abraham that his descendants will multiply as the stars of the heavens. The legend 'ABRAHAM AND THE THREE ANGELS GEN. 18' is inscribed in Hebrew, English, and Arabic, and the mint mark (מ) of the Holy Land Mint appears in the lower field.
