| Obverse description | Facing bust of President Chiang Ching-kuo, depicted in suit, tie, and characteristic thick-rimmed glasses, occupying the central field of the coin. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the facial features and attire. A circular commemorative legend surrounds the bust, reading along the upper arc and continuing down both sides to the lower border of the field. The inscription records the Republic of China year date (Year 99) along the upper rim and the commemorative dedication to the centenary of President Chiang's birth along the lower and lateral portions. |
