Reverse description The reverse is printed in deep blue-violet intaglio on a light ground, with the Nepalese royal coat of arms at centre, comprising a shield supported by two Gurkha soldiers and surmounted by a parasol, with the national motto in Devanagari script on a banner below. Peacocks perched on tree branches occupy the left and right border vignettes, forming ornate side panels. A rectangular watermark window appears at right, while the denomination numerals '10' appear at lower left and lower right, with 'RUPEES TEN.' and Devanagari denomination text inscribed at centre left.
