Obverse description The obverse is printed in green and brown letterpress, with the Polish eagle coat of arms vignette at left and a portrait bust of Tadeusz Kościuszko at right. The central text panel carries the full statutory redemption pledge of the Polish State Loan Bank, dated 23 August 1919, beneath the bank's title in bold lettering. Two facsimile signature lines appear at the foot, for the Director (Józef Zarzycki) and the Chief Treasurer (Marian Karpus).

Reverse description The reverse is printed in the same green and brown colour scheme as the obverse, its entire surface covered by an intricate foliate and scroll guilloche underprint. The Polish eagle within an oval cartouche occupies the upper centre, flanked by two denomination numerals '10' set within ornamental roundels at the upper corners. A central rectangular text panel carries the anti-counterfeiting warning in Polish, and a large denomination numeral '10' appears in a lower guilloche medallion; the series designation and serial number are printed in red at the lower left and right respectively.
