Reverse description The Imperial German eagle displayed at center, rendered with spread wings, a crowned head facing right, and a breast shield bearing the Baden arms, all surrounded by ornamental scroll-work at the base. The legend DEUTSCHES REICH arcs around the upper portion of the field, with the year of issue appearing to the right of the eagle. The denomination 10 MARK is inscribed in two lines in the lower field, separated from the eagle by decorative foliate flourishes. A beaded border encircles the entire design, consistent with the standardized Imperial German gold coinage of the Wilhelmine era.
