| Obverse description | The central panel, set within an octagonal frame, carries the denomination legend in large Gothic script above a text block stating redeemability at all Chemnitz banks and bankers, dated Chemnitz, 18. November 1918, and signed by representatives of the Finanzvereinigung Chemnitzer Industrieller. To the left, a vignette of a classical male figure with scales and a staff; to the right, a second allegorical male figure with tools and radiating sunburst, both rendered in fine letterpress against an elaborate floral and scroll border in grey-green tones. Below the central panel, a validity notice states expiry on 31. Januar 1919. |

The lower half presents two allegorical female figures — one at left seated before industrial machinery, one at right at a loom — flanking a central rococo cartouche containing the counterfeiting warning text and the serial number. The pink guilloche underprint covers the entire field, with a grey-green border frame. |
