| Obverse description | Grey-toned note with a wave-pattern underprint ground. The large denomination numeral '10' is rendered in bold Fraktur script at centre, accompanied by the word 'Mark' to the right. A dark rectangular banner below carries two lines of Low German verse attributed to Kinau. The serial number appears at lower left preceded by 'No.', and the issuing authority, date '1. Febr. 1922', and a facsimile signature are printed at the foot in Gothic lettering. Two lines of Gothic text run across the top of the note. |
