| Obverse description | Green and black letterpress notgeld printed on white paper, with a dense foliate and scrollwork border enclosing the central text panel. The four corners carry stylised numeral '10' devices, and the Freiburg civic eagle vignette within a laurel wreath appears at centre below the main inscription. Two embossed dry-seal impressions of the city are visible flanking the denomination, and two manuscript signatures appear below the eagle. A pink overprint reading 'Ungültig' is struck diagonally across both upper corners. |

The central text panel carries two blocks of Gothic blackletter text setting out the redemption notice and the statutory counterfeiting warning, and the serial number is printed in black at the bottom centre within the lower ornamental border. |
