Obverse description Intaglio portrait of King Moshoeshoe II wearing spectacles, set against an intricate guilloche underprint in red and multicolour, occupies the right portion of the note. The National Coat of Arms of Lesotho, bearing the motto KHOTSO PULA NALA, is centrally placed amid a geometric diamond-pattern underprint in yellow, blue, and purple. Two facsimile signatures appear below, attributed to the Minister of Finance and the Governor respectively, with the date 1990 above them.
