Reverse description The reverse presents an intaglio vignette of the courtyard of the Beit ed-Din Palace at centre, with its distinctive arched arcades, a tall cypress tree, and a reflecting pool in the foreground, rendered in a detailed engraved style by G. Beltrand. The bank title 'BANQUE DE SYRIE ET DU LIBAN' runs across the top, with 'LIBAN' repeated at left and right, and 'DIX LIVRES' inscribed at the base of the central vignette. The composition is framed by an ornate geometric and foliate border in rose and brown tones, with the denomination numeral '10' at each upper corner.
