| Obverse description | Central device depicts a flaming torch entwined with an olive branch, symbolising victory and peace, set against a bold starburst of radiating pointed rays that fill the field. The torch and branch motif is rendered in high relief with fine sculptural detail. Encircling the upper portion of the rim, the country name appears in three scripts: Hebrew (ישראל) at top, Arabic (اسرائيل) at right, and Latin (ISRAEL) at left. The denomination legend '10 לירות ישראליות' (10 Israeli Pounds) is inscribed in Hebrew along the lower arc of the coin. |
