Reverse description A standing allegorical figure of Prudentia occupies the central field, rendered in a classical style facing slightly to the right. The figure holds a serpent in one hand, a traditional attribute of prudence, and raises the other hand in a gesturing pose. The denomination L·10 appears to the left of the figure, and the date 1963 to the right. The circumferential legend CITTA DEL VATICANO arcs around the upper portion of the coin, while the inscription PRVDENTIA is displayed in the lower exergue.
