Reverse description Two ornate traditional ballot urns, used in San Marino's historic legislative voting process, are depicted side by side in the central field, set against a geometric hatched background framed by horizontal lines. The date 1979 is incised in the lower central field between the bases of the two urns. The denomination L·10 is rendered in large characters along the lower exergue. The mint mark of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (IPZS) appears to the left.
