Obverse description A three-quarter-facing intaglio portrait vignette of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is positioned to the right of centre against a multicolour guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral '10' appears in the upper left and upper right corners, with the bank title across the top and the value in words across the centre. Three signature lines for bank officials appear in the lower centre, and serial number and prefix block appear twice in the lower portion of the note.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in deep green intaglio and presents a scenic landscape vignette of the historic Meriç (Maritsa) River bridge at Edirne, framed by overhanging trees on the right and an elaborate rosette medallion on the left against radiating sunburst guilloche. The denomination '10' appears in the lower left and lower right corners, with the bank title along the top and the value in words centred at the bottom. A large unprinted oval watermark window occupies the right side of the vignette.
