Reverse description Central field displays the quartered coat of arms of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty, comprising the arms of Austria, Burgundy, and Brabant among others, surmounted by an imperial crown with cross finial. The shield is set within an ornate baroque cartouche composed of decorative scrollwork, with the mintmark of the Brussels Mint positioned at six o'clock. A circular Latin legend borders the design reading ARCH·AUS·D·BURG LOTH·BRAB·C·FLA·, referencing the principal territorial titles of Franz II. The reverse composition is characteristic of the coinages of the Austrian Netherlands under Habsburg rule.
