| Obverse description | At center, the emblem of the Bulgarian National Bank is depicted, incorporating the founding year '1879' inscribed on a ribbon below the device. The circular legend 'БЪЛГАРСКА НАРОДНА БАНКА' (Bulgarian National Bank) runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '10 ЛЕВА' and the year of issue '2012' are positioned in the lower field. The design is rendered in a clean, formal style befitting an official institutional emblem. |

The "Wonderful Bridges" — Chudnite Mostove — are a pair of natural marble arch formations in the Rhodope Mountains, remnants of a collapsed cave system carved over millennia by the Erkyupriya river. The Bulgarian National Bank has issued a long-running series of commemorative silvers highlighting the country's natural landmarks, and this piece belongs to that program.
The Rhodope arches were declared a natural landmark in 1949.
