| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in red and green on a light ground, with the Albanian state coat of arms — a double-headed eagle surmounted by a red star within an oval cartouche inscribed '24 MAJ 1944' — centred as the principal vignette. The denomination '10' appears in large intaglio numerals to either side, accompanied by the inscription 'DHJETË LEKË', all set within an intricate guilloche border with foliate ornaments at the corners.
