Designed according to the European Council conclusion on 17 October 2006, displays in the middle the signature page in the Treaty of Rome, superposed over Michelangelo`s design of the Capitol Square pavement and the inscriptions `EUROPA` and `50 ANI`; on the outer ring, in the upper and lower parts, the inscriptions `TRATATUL DE LA ROMA` and `25 MARTIE 1957` respectively.
