A vertical dividing line separates the portrait from the left portion of the field, which bears the inscriptions in two stacked lines. The name MIHAIL SADOVEANU is inscribed vertically along the left field, with the birth and death years 1880 - 1961 below it, both in a contrasting mirror-finish panel against the frosted background. |
