Comments

Bradbury Wilkinson printed several Landsbanki Íslands series during the mid-twentieth century, but the P#33 10 Krónur is notable for being designed by Jón Thorleifsson, one of the few instances in this period where an Icelandic national contributed directly to the design of a domestically issued note rather than leaving the work entirely to the printing house. Whether Bradbury Wilkinson's engravers substantially reworked his designs — as was common practice — is not definitively documented.

The red color distinguishes this from earlier 10 Krónur issues in the same general series.
