Obverse description Right-facing effigy of Queen Margrethe II, depicted with an upswept hairstyle surmounted by a jewelled crown and wearing a pearl necklace, engraved by Mogens Møller in a refined, realistic portrait style. The bust is set within a raised inner circle. The circular legend reads MARGRETHE II ♥ DANMARKS DRONNING, with a small heart serving as a divider between the queen's name and her title. The date and mint officials' initials appear in the lower portion of the inner circle.
