| Obverse description | Pale yellow guilloche underprint covers the entire note, providing a fine patterned background to all text. The issuer's name, "Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani Aktieselskap", is set in ornate blackletter script at the centre, flanked by decorative calligraphic flourishes. The denomination "10 – Ti kroner" appears in a bold blackletter cartouche mid-note, with the full redemption and validity conditions printed in letterpress above and below; two dark rectangular serial number panels, marked "Serie B." and "Nr.", are positioned at the upper left and upper right respectively, with a manuscript signature of the board chairman at lower left. |
