Reverse description Saint George on horseback, depicted in dynamic profile to the left, clad in armour and raising his lance to strike the dragon prostrate beneath the horse's hooves. The composition fills the central field with vigorous movement, the horse rearing with mane flowing, and the dragon rendered with scaled body and spread wings. The surrounding circumferential legend, separated by pellet stops, reads + SI. DEVS. NOBISC(V). QS. CON(.) NOS., an abbreviated scriptural invocation (Romans 8:31: 'Si Deus nobiscum, quis contra nos'). The engraving style is typical of Bavarian hammered silver of the early sixteenth century.
